A bagasse extractor is a device or system used in sugar mills to extract bagasse (the fibrous residue left after sugarcane is crushed to extract juice)

The bagasse extractor is used to extract bagasse from the sailo. They are placed aftet the sailo. The sailos are the storages to store the bagasse in case of emergency. The ectractor extracts bagasse from the sailo and further feeds to the screw feeder which enters the boiler for combustion.

The bagasse extractors are of diffrent sizes depending on the capacity of the boilers. They are designed taking in to consideration the capacity of boiler, capacity of the bagasse stored in the sailo, speed of extraction, feeding capacity of the extractor.
